Today I worked on my first draft front cover. I put in the masthead, a large picture frame for the image on the front cover, I also included some small articles at the side of the page. Next I will start work on the basics of my contents page.

Here is an updated version of my front cover for my magazine. I have included the main photo on the front cover which relates to the main article in the magazine. I have also included more details such as pull quotes and smaller previews of content inside the magazine.
A clear first draft. With regards to the title of the magazine, could you play around with the aesthetics? A possible idea might be distorting the title in someway to fit with the name? Also please decide what images you are going to use and take them as soon as you can, then you can have a solid idea of how the overall front cover may look.
